(reported by journalist Lin, Tse-Ting from Military News Agency on March 16th in Pingtung) Cooperated with the artillery test, Air Force Anti-Aircraft Battalion simulated a real night-time battlefield and held live-fire drills with Oerlikon GDF 35 mm twin cannon last night. The officers and soldiers in Artillery Crops operated the cannon to successfully fire the target with high explosive incendiary tracer and accomplished the shooting training task.

Air Force Anti-Aircraft Battalion held the live-fire anti-aircraft exercise with 35 mm twin cannon at Fangshan Township in Pingtung yesterday. Guided by the fire control system with the precise radar search, the target was pointed and fired. The ammunition blazed up in the night sky to show that the officers and soldiers have attained good results of the training.

The artillery test unit claimed the anti-aircraft exercise is a crucial training task in Air Force base to prove the performance of war strength in the crops. The efficient result of this anti-aircraft training shown in this exercise not only met the requirement of combining the combat and training but also increased the power in air defense.
