(reported by journalist Li, Yi-Hao from Military News Agency on May 24th in Taichung)The Chief of the General Staff Admiral Lee Hsi-ming went to Taichung today to supervise the preparation of the attending troops of “Hanguang 34th Exercise”, and he represented President Tsai Ing-wen and the Minister of the Ministry of National Defense Yen Te-fa to appreciate and encourage the effort of soldiers put into combat training.
Chief Lee led supervisors of the General Staff of the Ministry of National Defense to the Taichung Ching-Chuan-Kang Air Base to listen the task presentation of the attending troops and visit the actual exercise to appreciate the hard work of soldiers on the training and preparation works recently.
Chief Lee encouraged soldiers to keep improving the inspection of military equipment, ammunition and facilities, and implement safety and risk prevention activities, and expect soldiers to show solid combat capability and fully demonstrate the result of intensive training of the national army to the citizen.
