(reported by journalist Lin, Ze-Ting from Military News Agency) “I wanted to challenge the Path of Unyielding Man because I have a classmate at the 2nd Company of the Amphibious Reconnaissance Battalion, and I want to become a qualified frogman just like him”. Zhang Zhi-jun, officer who underwent the training of the 148th Frogmen Reserve Training Team by having his rank removed, expressed that he was encouraged when he saw the Path of Unyielding Man from the 147th ARB-101, and he thought that if those men can do it, he can too. Although the entire training process was arduous, Zhang was glad that he finally did it, and he hoped that he will be able to contribute himself to the affiliated unit after being dispatched.

“Excited and touched at the same time”. Chen Ying-sheng, another cadet from the 148th Frogmen Reserve Training Team, said that seeing everyone dashed to help out the physically exhausted classmate, when everyone was following the repeated orders from the instructor, has ignited his determination to complete the challenge. Furthermore, Chen said that the motivation for him to endure until the end was his classmate who cheered for him, and that is why he told himself to never give up. Finally, he would like to express his gratitude to the help provided by his reserve training instructor, and he will be upholding the Frogmen creed of “Absolute Obedience, Endurance to the End” in the future, as well as complete all missions given by supervisors.
