(reported by journalist Zhou, Sheng-Wei from Military News Agency on May 14th in Taichung)Admiral Lee Hsi-ming, Chief of the General Staff, supervised the preparedness progress of the 35th Han Kuang Exercise training mission this morning, and encouraged soldiers and officers to implement training and exercise preparedness in a “rigorous and difficult” approach, in order to perfectly manifest the refined combat capability of the Armed Forces before the eyes of the public.
Chief of the General Staff Lee was accompanied by Lieutenant General Hsiung, Deputy Commander of Air Force, Lieutenant General Lee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, and Han Zheng-hong, Sergeant Major of MND, in early morning when he supervised the relevant preparedness of Navy highway strip landing and take off bundle training missions, and proposed work guidance.
In the course of the supervision, Chief of the General Staff Lee understood the training mission of each participating unit, recognized the diligent preparedness and efforts from soldiers and officers for the past few days, and conducted discussion with cadres to review if there are any obstacles during the drill, then retrieve the solutions for these problems, in order to perfect the entire exercise.
Chief of the General Staff Lee asked all soldiers and officers to prioritize on drill discipline and the safety of personnel and equipment; he hoped that the joint combat capability of the Armed Forces can be verified through the practical drill preparedness, allowing the public to witness the results produced from the diligent and refined training of the Armed Forces comrades.
